Bokuaka Big Bang 2020
Hi there! We are just a bunch of people who really love Bokuto and Akaashi from Haikyuu, therefore we would like to organise this event to tie bokuaka fans together! All of the information regarding the big bang is below!
ABOUT
This Big Bang is centered around the the Haikyuu! Bokuaka pairing.
Contrary to most zines or fic exchanges, a big bang is the collaberation of both artists and writers to come together and create a fanfiction with an accompanying artwork. In general, writers will have to submit summaries (anonymously) and these will be revealed to artists. Artists will then pick their top 5 choices, and pairings will be formed that way. As we can't ensure that everyone get's their first choice, we ask that participants will be patient and support everyone even if you don't get your first choice! Remember that we are all here to just have fun and gush about the relationship between Bokuto and Akaashi.
For writers:
You may write about anything as long as it is Bokuaka centric, we will be allowing for NSFW content within the Big Bang. Writers will also have the choice of asking for a beta, and you will be assigned to one accordingly.
As for the final work that you would have to present, there will be three tiers that you will be able to choose from:
Tier 1
Writers will be expected to write a minimum of 3000 words by the end of the Big Bang.
Tier 2
Writers will be expected to write a minimum of 5000 words by the end of the Big Bang.
Tier 3
Writers will be expected to write a minimum of 7500 words by the end of the Big Bang.
For artists
You are required to submit a fully coloured artwork by the end of the Big Bang.
Do note that you can sign up for more than one position, if you would like to! However, please keep keep your own limits in mind. Both writers and artists are free to submit/choose as many summaries as they would like, but as mentioned, do take note of the timeline and know your own limits.

6th - 8th Nov- summaries due
15th Nov - summaries revealed
18th - 22nd Nov Selection for pairings open
30th Nov - pairings revealed
28th -30th Dec - first check in
29th-21st Jan - second check in
26th - 28th Feb - Third and final check in
7th-14th Mar - posting
21st -28th Mar - posting (for those with extensions)
Extensions will be granted on a case by case scenario
RULES
1. Be civil and respectful to everyone
2.No talk of suicide, self-harm, and other extremely controversial/heavy emotional/political topics.
3. No hate speech (racism, sexism, etc.).
4. Don't harass/impersonate/or behave in anyway that causes malicious confusion.
5. Be prompt with the deadlines, unless you have been granted an extension.
6. Be mindful of triggers and censor them appropriately
